Which garden pool to choose?
Almost everyone dreams of having their own pool. The large garden pool is sure to make a sensation when meeting friends and it will be difficult for children to get away from it. Plus, it's a fantastic way to spend lazy summer afternoons. Before we dive into our dreams, let's look at the facts. The choice of garden pools is impressive. Inflatable, expandable, free-standing - but how to choose a good pool among them? What should you know so that you do not buy unnecessary accessories at the expense of what you need? Our detailed guide will explain all the doubts and after reading it you will definitely know what your pool set should contain.
The garden pool is no longer exclusively for people with coarser wallets. People who enjoy crowded swimming pools, cold lakes or seas full of cyanobacteria, and those who simply lack the time and opportunity to leave, are increasingly choosing their own pools. As their popularity grows, prices gradually decrease. I am talking here mainly about small simple tanks - because the largest and most technologically advanced ones can still cost several thousand euros. Our offer includes both - the smallest inflatable pools for children, slightly larger expansion pools, ideal for spending summer afternoons with friends, and the largest ones - on stands that can be a little out of place. Wondering what size to choose? The rule is simple: the bigger the pool, the more fun, so it's worth choosing the largest model that the garden will allow us to have.
What garden pools do we sell?
1. Inflatable pools
Small swimming pools or inflatable playgrounds are equipment suitable for the youngest bathing amateurs or children under 3 years of age. Shallow water depth, soft, safe materials and visually appealing colorful decorative motifs guarantee fun and safety. The advantages of inflatable pools include a very low price, ease of installation, the ability to place them anywhere and even easy transport from place to place. Their disadvantages may be the susceptibility to damage (although kits usually contain repair patches), the need for frequent water changes and the fact that a child will grow out of such a pool quickly. Then it's time to consider the next phase of pool fun.
2. Expansion pools
Expansion pools have a more durable structure. They are available in many sizes. It should be recalled that a given dimension (eg 305 cm) refers to the diameter measured at the widest part of the tank and not at the height of the upper flange (tire). The expansion pools are round, tapering slightly at the top. When filled with water, they take on shape and size. This type of pool is suitable for families with children, because small children are not exposed to contact with the metal elements of the frame. But remember - don't leave the baby alone in these tanks either.
3. Pools with construction
Designed pools ensure the highest durability among the tanks in our offer. The variety of shapes and sizes means that everyone will find something for themselves. During assembly, you connect vertical and horizontal beams (pipes), thus creating a frame made of stainless steel for PVC, which is the main part of the pool - the tank. Setting them up may seem complicated at first and takes some time, but it's not that bad - each pool comes with detailed instructions (often a DVD movie or picture manual) that shows you step-by-step how to match parts. Efforts will be offset by ease of use, variety of pool uses, stability and size.
INTEX or Bestway: does it matter?
Choosing a brand is an important issue when looking for a suitable garden pool, even if we first think about the size, type of construction and the amount we can spend on the purchase. The very choice of the manufacturer's logo is secondary, at least for the reputable brands mentioned in the title. Their parameters and prices do not differ significantly. When one manufacturer does not sell a particular model, it is worth checking whether the other manufacturer offers a similar one. However, we do not recommend choosing "no-names", ie products manufactured by companies unknown on the market. Only certified manufacturers use durable materials and proven designs because they have the financial means to test them. The apparent savings will be useless if the cheap pool falls apart before the end of the first season. In addition, not all "specialist" manufacturers offer a set of accessories for their products, so later it can be problematic to choose a filter pump or even a cover for such a pool. There is no such problem with INTEX and Bestway pools, as both companies provide comprehensive and, above all, specialized equipment for their pools - brand new and qualitatively you can say perfect.
Pool sets - What's the matter?
Pool set is a comprehensive solution - a pool with complete accessories. Most pool models have specially selected accessories, perfectly adapted to the specific size and type of pool, from 2in1, through 3in1 and 7in1 (the most popular) and even 12in1 and more - in our shop you will even find 21in1. The first number indicates how many accessories the kit contains (including the pool itself). When buying such a set, especially from other retailers, pay particular attention to what accessories it contains, as the sets may not always be the same. It happens that some retailers include instructions or patches as an element when offering a pool set, even though these two things are an integral part of every pool, they are even sold without the set. Our company only supplies specific accessories for the kits: pump, washer, cover, etc. Don't be fooled by the low price of the competition - check that the sets offered are really identical and carefully analyze what the set consists of.
What about the resistance of the pool?
A good pool is a permanent pool. Fortunately, the manufacturers we work with know how to make them. The tanks in our offer are made of durable PVC, supplemented with polyester mesh. The cross section of the pool wall is clearly visible in the picture below.
How can we take care of our garden pool to survive the many summer seasons? Theoretically, it can be buried in the ground, but we do not recommend this solution, because - firstly - the tanks in our offer are typically ground, and secondly - it can be problematic to connect a pump to the pool, for example. To avoid damaging the pool, keep all animals away. Before bathing, put away all sharp objects and remove jewelry to avoid accidentally piercing the surface.
Preparation of the base for the pool.
Preparations for the establishment of a garden pool should begin with a thorough cleaning of the site, ie get rid of all stones, debris, twigs, in other words, anything that can damage the bottom of the tank. First of all, the ground should be flat and perfectly level. The pool cannot be set on the slopes. The base should be hard enough to withstand the weight of the water. Remember that the swimming pool does not save any grass that grows nearby. If you especially like your plants, choose another place for them, because they will not survive in damp substrate for long.
